Assesments

CourseWork & Submissions

Financial Management Module

The assessment is made up of two parts: a presentation (including slides) and a written report, with each component contributing 50% to the overall module grade. All work must be submitted through Moodle by the specified deadline

Dissertation Module

This assessment accounts for 100% of the overall module grade and requires a written submission of approximately 15,000 words. Students may only submit their work once formal ethics approval has been granted.

Ethics Form

  • Fill out the ethics form in line with the given guidelines. Once completed, send it by email to the Ethics Review Committee (ERC) to receive feedback.
  • After incorporating any required changes and obtaining approval, upload the final version to Canvas before the specified deadline.
  • Students must also choose an appropriate research topic and submit it through the official faculty link. If the topic is approved, they can continue with the remaining course modules. If not, revisions should be made as advised before proceeding.

ASSESSMENT & RESULTS

  • Assessment results are typically issued within 4-5 weeks after grading has been completed. This timeline includes internal marking, moderation, and final approval by the Examination Board.
  • A module is considered passed if the overall mark is 40% or higher. If the mark falls below 40%, students will be given an opportunity to resubmit their work.
  • For resubmission, students are required to include an additional document of approximately 1,000 words outlining the revisions and improvements made. This explanation must be submitted along with the updated assignment.
  • If the resubmitted work does not meet the required standard, the student will need to pay a fee of GBP 80 per module to retake it. Failure to pass the retaken module may lead to removal from the programme.
